The Daikin airconditioner range

If you're looking into ways to keep your home cool over the next few months, investing in a Daikin airconditioner might be a good first step, given the quality of the systems available from the brand.

The split-system Daikin airconditioner range

Daikin's core products are split-system air-conditioners and ducted systems. A split system Daikin airconditioner is great for cooling a single room. They come in reverse-cycle or cooling-only varieties, with a range of powers to suit spaces of different sizes. An inverter model is also available, which uses less power and keeps the temperature more or less level.

The multi-split systems from Daikin can cool a number of rooms in the house, but only require one outdoor unit. These systems allow control of the temperature in individual rooms, which saves energy and keeps cooling costs down.

The Super Multi system can cool four rooms, while the Super Multi Plus system can cool up to nine. Like the single split Daikin airconditioner systems, they are available in reverse-cycle or cooling-only models and can be wall mounted, duct connected or floor/ceiling suspended.

The Daikin ducted airconditioner range

Daikin ducted air-conditioning systems can be installed in either new or existing homes. The unit is usually located in the ceiling or under the floor, with a compressor outside, and air is distributed through vents located throughout the house.

These ducted Daikin airconditioning systems can be configured to operate in two or more zones for individual temperature control. A Daikin initiative called I-text also allows you to control your ducted air-conditioning from your mobile phone.

As Daikin products are of a higher quality, they can be a little more expensive than other brands. But if quality is more important to you than price, a Daikin airconditioner might be a good investment.
