Whether you’re looking to add a bathroom cabinet, or wishing to create a more spacious feel, talking with an expert can get you started on the right foot. We caught up with Interior Designer Melissa Healy to find out how you can maximise your interior space.
Be specific with how you use the room and then ensure functional flow and placement - the use of bathroom mirrors or reflective surfaces, frameless shower screens and large-profile tiles give a small space the impression of being expansive.
Recessed shelves in shower walls are a favourite - they keep the space uncluttered by concealing bathroom products.
Not only do they look great, but having space under a bathroom vanity also helps to visually enlarge the floor space and it's easier to clean.
Although storage appears limited, excess items can be stowed in recessed shelving or in a mirrored cabinet.
Quality bathroom fittings - they're worth the extra cost in the long term.
The environment and surroundings of each unique space always influence my designs.
The great people I meet and the joy of creating desirable living spaces for them and their families. If you have any questions you would like to ask Melissa please email her at info@futaridesign.com.au
