If you’re planning a bathroom renovation and you’re heading to the showrooms, follow our checklist and plan your way to a stylish and well prepared makeover for your interior.

1. Research your bathroom design

Make use of the research before you even step into a showroom bathroom display. This will give you an idea of the kinds of styles that are currently available and also the kinds of prices you are likely to be looking at.

2. Know your renovation budget

A bathroom makeover can be one of the most expensive upgrades in the house renovation, with a large chunk of money spent before you even get to the bathroom fittings.

5. Limit your bathroom choices

With so many styles available, market exhaustion can set in and make it difficult to make a choice as to which bathroom design you should implement. A good strategy is to select a look, whether it's modern, classic or minimal, and then choose three suppliers from which to make your final decision.

6. Prepare with bathroom professionals

While they are qualified to advise you on bathroom fittings, showroom consultants can't take the place of a plumber, builder or designer. If you need a little extra help with your bathroom renovation, many showrooms have design services, or can organise contractors to complete the work.
